Some of my friends already know, but this Friday was my last day of work, since my wife and I have decided to move to Hong Kong, in January 2017.
Why am I leaving my permanent work with Alberta Health Services so soon? The reason is that I’m gearing up to write the Hong Kong Pharmacy and Poisons Board pharmacist licensing exam in the second week of December. It’s going to require quite a bit of studying and review since the bulk of the exam questions are short answer and essay type questions.
I really want to thank my pharmacist clinical practice leader team, with whom I’ve worked with for almost the past two years. They put together a thoughtful gift basket of all things Canadian, pictured above. I’ll definitely be consuming the chocolate bars and ketchup chips straight away.
This is an exciting time for me and the work I’m planning for The Clinical Pharmacist. I have several projects that I’ll soon be posting about, and I’ll continue to bring you relevant health information that is focused on getting the most from your medications.
